Rio to Bracknell

Peter’s next assignment was an ice rink in Bracknell. This time filming with a talented young female  Ice Hockey player,  Verity Lewis. The location may be different and certainly not as dangerous but a similar scenario plays out. A run down venue with a group of dedicated coaches who are helping kids from 5  to 18 get involved in a sport. Training starts at five when the rink closes to the public and sometimes there are sessions still going on at midnight. Something Verity has done many times whilst training for the Youth Olympic Games. Her hard work and dedication is paying off as she has won a scholarship in Canada. Whilst she has worked so hard credit also goes to her coaches who have put in hours of work with her and her team mates to help them fulfil their dreams. This is a story that plays out all over the UK.
